This original operation of Show Me Farms was founded and started by Don and Marylou Mayse with raising, showing, and producing some of the best beef in the Mid-Missouri area. With the passing of Marylou in 2012 and Don in 2015 our family had no plans to sell the farm but wanted to take on a different approach in keeping the farm up and running to share with others. Show Me Farms is located approximately 15 minutes from Columbia and approximately 25 minutes from Jefferson City. We have a beautiful event center that is centrally located and would love to share it with you.
Show Me Farms Event center is unique because your day will be structured your way. Our customers have the opportunity to use outside vendors, planners, and decorators to cater their event. This allows for substantial cost savings you don’t always get in a typical event space. Schedule a walk through with us, we’d love to show you around.
Unlike some of the other offerings in events, Show Me Farms Event center is in the midst of an actual working farm.
